Mormil Co., Ltd. (Location: Kashihara City, Nara Prefecture, CEO: Eiichiro Mori) raised a pre-seed round funds through a third-party allotment of shares with Real Tech Fund operated by Real Tech Holdings (Location: Sumida-ku, Tokyo, Representative Directors: Yukihiro Maru, Akihiko Nagata) and KTX Co., Ltd. (Location: Konan City, Aichi Prefecture, Representative Director: Taichi Noda) as the underwriter.

If it becomes possible to observe the molecules dynamics, which is a major proposition of modern life science, it is expected to lead to the elucidation of various life phenomena and pathologies. Human eyes cannot see molecules. In order to advance our understanding of molecules, mankind has enhanced various technological developments, and now it is possible to see the “shape” of molecules. However, even with these techniques, there are still many problems in observing the “movement” of molecules. molmir provides new drug discovery platform technology by combining “chemical-tongue”, which is a sensing technology that senses the movement and state of molecules and “NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance)”.
With this funding, we will work on developing technology to “see the molecules dynamics”, improving the research and development environment, hiring researchers, and building a management system. By refining the research and development environment and hiring researchers, we will acquire PoC (Proof of Concept) of “chemical-tongue”, develop NMR analysis technology including analysis software, and strengthen intellectual property related to technology implementation. In addition, we will promote cooperation with external companies through the recruitment of management teams.
